I help you make sure that your writing is clear, concise, and correct. I check all the details—from punctuation and word usage to page formatting and references—and ask the right questions. I know when to look things up, when to follow the rules, and when to point out that certain rules are flexible or false. I under-stand the importance of restraint and leaving the author's voice intact.

I can copyedit and proofread your document online or on hard copy, following the style manual of your choice and your in-house style guide, if applicable. I use Chicago and AP style but have also studied APA, MLA, and AMA style. For every change I suggest, I can provide a solid explanation.
